Gunners Wood clay shoot, 4 miles outside Petersfield, is situated in the beautiful East Hampshire countryside near the White Horse (Pub with no name). We provide a happy relaxed atmosphere and cater for all abilities.

Open shoots
We run open shoots: all certificate holders are welcome and no green fees are charged. 60 birds over 9 stands, with the layout varied every month.
Corporate & private
Corporate events, birthdays, stag and hen parties, with expert tuition and a trophy for the winning score. Minimum group of 10.
Lessons
Lessons are available by prior arrangement. No certificate needed — we cater for all abilities, from a first go to fine-tuning a mount.
The ground
A chestnut plantation, not a field with a car park in it.
The ground sits in a chestnut plantation, with the stands positioned in sunny grassy areas among the trees. It gives you shade, shelter and a different picture on every stand — and it is the reason people who shoot here once tend to come back.
Petersfield Gun Club is a family run club headed by Andy and Tracie Poynter. Catering is provided at each shoot with good food and hot drinks available, and there is ample parking on site.
